What Lyrebird costs

On 10 October 2026 Lyrebird's UK pricing page listed Pro at £50 per user a month billed monthly, or £450 per user a year billed annually. Two of its help-centre articles, dated 10 August and 10 September 2026, list Pro at £59 a month or £480 a year (equivalent to £40 a month). The free plan is called Free on the site and Lite in the help centre, with 50 actions a month and no integrations. We can't tell which price is current, so check the figure at checkout. Motics plans are Free, Starter £19 a month, Team from £98 a month (£49 per clinician, minimum two) and Scale from £290 a month (£145 per clinician, minimum two), all ex VAT.

Integrations: the practical difference

Lyrebird's UK integrations page lists Best Practice and Gentu, both Australian practice systems, plus hospital EHRs (Epic, Oracle Health, Meditech). It doesn't list Cliniko, Nookal, Meddbase, TM3, Semble, WriteUpp, EMIS or SystmOne, so UK private clinicians will usually copy notes into their PMS. Motics files notes into Cliniko, Nookal and Meddbase after clinician review.

Which Motics plan fits

  • Free (£0): 25 credits a month for Scribe and Chat, around 1 Scribe note or 10 chats a day. No card required.
  • Starter (£19 a month): 110 credits for a solo clinician, around 5 Scribe notes or 50 chats a day. No contract.
  • Team (from £98 a month: £49 per clinician, minimum two): 352 credits per clinician in one shared clinic pool, unlimited users, and the Phone, Email and Billing agents.
  • Scale (from £290 a month: £145 per clinician, minimum two): 1,320 credits per clinician, plus the Audit agent and compliance workflows, clinic usage analytics, priority support and guided onboarding.
  • Enterprise (custom pricing): for multi-site groups that need SSO, advanced roles and a procurement and security review.

What the comparison shows: Both products store data in the UK and both scribes are MHRA Class I, so the difference is what happens after the note. Motics files notes into Cliniko, Nookal and Meddbase, which Lyrebird doesn't list, and one shared credit pool covers Scribe, Phone, Email and Billing with unlimited users on Team and Scale, so part-time associates don't need a seat. Start on the free plan, or estimate your clinic's cost on the pricing page.

Motics is a UK-built clinic AI suite. The Scribe Agent drafts SOAP notes, treatment plans, referral letters and patient summaries from ambient capture or dictation, with physio-first templates covering objective measures and exercise prescription, and files them into Cliniko, Nookal or Meddbase after clinician review. The same credit pool runs the Phone Agent (AI receptionist), Email and Billing agents, and on Scale an Audit agent that reviews clinical notes for quality and CQC readiness.

Pricing is credit-based: about 1 credit per note, a free plan with 25 credits a month, Starter at £19 a month for a solo clinician, and Team from £98 a month (£49 per clinician, minimum two) with unlimited users sharing one pool. Patient data stays in the UK, audio is deleted within 48 hours, the Scribe Agent is MHRA-registered as a Class I medical device, and patient data is not used to train AI models.

Its UK compliance page says data is stored in the United Kingdom (with model inference running transiently in the EU), that it is registered with the MHRA as a Class I medical device, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certified, DTAC compliant on an internal assessment and compliant with DSPT, and that data is never used to train an AI model. Its UK integrations page lists Best Practice and Gentu (Australian systems) plus Epic, Oracle Health and Meditech; it doesn't list Cliniko, Nookal, Meddbase, TM3, Semble, EMIS or SystmOne.

How we chose

Every fact about Lyrebird Health on this page was read from that vendor's own website, pricing page, help centre or vendor-supplied marketplace listing on 10 October 2026; the sources list below links each page. Where a vendor doesn't publish something (a price, VAT treatment, a certification, where data is hosted), we say "not published" instead of estimating it. Prices are quoted as the vendor states them; we haven't converted other currencies. Motics prices come from our own pricing page and are ex VAT.

Motics is our product. Each product gets a review card listing its features and limitations. Vendors change prices and features, so check their pages before you buy. If you spot anything inaccurate, contact us and we'll correct it. Product names are trademarks of their owners; Motics is not affiliated with or endorsed by any vendor named here.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Lyrebird Health cost in the UK?

It depends which Lyrebird page you read. The UK pricing page lists Pro at £50 per user a month or £450 a year; its help centre lists £59 a month or £480 a year. There's also a free plan with 50 actions a month and no integrations, and Teams and Enterprise are custom. VAT isn't stated. Checked 10 October 2026, so confirm the price at checkout.

Is Motics cheaper than Lyrebird?

The two price differently. Lyrebird Pro is £50 to £59 per user a month depending on which of its pages you read, with part-time discounts of up to 50%. Motics Starter is £19 a month for a solo clinician and Team is from £98 a month (£49 per clinician, minimum two) ex VAT, with unlimited users sharing one credit pool, so part-time associates don't need a seat at all. Estimate your clinic's cost on the pricing page.

Does Lyrebird integrate with Cliniko or EMIS?

Lyrebird's UK integrations page doesn't list Cliniko, Nookal, Meddbase, TM3, Semble, WriteUpp, EMIS or SystmOne. It lists Best Practice and Gentu (Australian systems) and Epic, Oracle Health and Meditech. Motics files notes into Cliniko, Nookal and Meddbase.

Where does Lyrebird store UK data?

Lyrebird's UK compliance page says data is stored in the United Kingdom and that model inference runs transiently in the EU. It says data is never used to train an AI model. Motics also stores data in the UK, deletes audio within 48 hours and doesn't train on patient data.

Are Motics and Lyrebird medical devices?

Both say their scribes are registered with the MHRA as Class I medical devices. Motics' Scribe Agent is also DTAC-assessed, has DCB0129 clinical safety documentation and Cyber Essentials Plus, and its security is aligned to ISO 27001.

Is Lyrebird built for physiotherapists?

Lyrebird's UK site positions it for NHS trusts, GPs and specialists and doesn't name allied health as a UK audience. Physios can use it for notes, but expect to copy them into Cliniko or Nookal. Motics' templates are physio-first and file directly.

Can I switch from Lyrebird to Motics?

Yes. Your clinical record lives in your PMS, so switching mainly means recreating templates and connecting Motics to Cliniko, Nookal or Meddbase. Export any letters or documents stored only in Lyrebird before you cancel, and run both side by side for a week if you can.
